The importance of health and wellness has definitely been brought to top of mind in the healthcare sector in the last decade. As the baby boomer generation is nearing or entering their senior years, strained medical and health services, and the awareness of increasing numbers of people about the limits of modern medical technology, society is embracing an increasing commitment to one's own health and wellness.

There is no longer a need for people to dependent on hospitals or doctors to treat them in the event of illness.
